Welcome to Flow Climbing — we’re committed to a fun, safe and inclusive environment for every climber. Please review our rules, responsibilities and expectations before your visit.
Age 10+ Children 10–14 must be supervised by a parent/guardian.
Safety Rules
1. General Safety Guidelines
- Minimum age 10+
Children 10–14 must be supervised by a parent/guardian. - Create an account & sign the waiver
Complete your profile online before your first climb. - First-timer induction
Brief bouldering induction for new climbers. - Dress for safety
Closed-toe climbing shoes (rentals available). Avoid loose jewellery or dangling items. - No food or drink on mats/walls
Keep the climbing surface clear. - Be aware of others
Watch for climbers above/below and for falling holds.
2. Wall & Fall Safety
- Climb within your ability
Ask staff for assistance if unsure. - Always land on the mats
Step down safely and avoid unsafe zones. - Don’t climb under others
Give way and use designated entry/exit zones. - Chalk & shoes only
No ropes/harnesses unless in a supervised program. - Do not climb if impaired
Avoid climbing when unwell, injured or under the influence.
3. Membership & Booking Policies

We may suspend access for unsafe or non-compliant behaviour.
4. Children & Youth Climbers
- Active supervision
Parent/guardian must supervise 10–14 year olds. - Youth programs
Coaching and technique training available.
5. Respect & Community Standards
- Be kind & respectful
No bullying, harassment or reckless behaviour. - Report hazards
Tell staff about damaged holds or unsafe areas. - Pets & filming
Pets in café/lounge only; get consent before filming others.
6. Health & Medical Considerations
- Check with your doctor if needed
Especially for pregnancy, recent injuries or major conditions. - First-aid trained staff
Safety matting & equipment checked daily.
7. Waiver & Assumption of Risk

Climbing has inherent risks including falls, collisions or equipment failure. By participating you accept responsibility for your own safety and agree to follow staff instructions, signage and policies. Failure to comply may lead to suspension or removal without refund.
8. Your Responsibility
- Check in at reception
Sign in and collect rentals if needed. - Inspect gear
Ensure shoes and chalk are suitable. - Warm up & progress gradually
Stay within your comfort and skill zone. - Use beginner classes/coaching
Great for building safe movement patterns. - Hydrate & rest
Look after your body and recover between climbs.
